This new offering from Howa has a unique Howa Action build that is in between the popular Howa Mini Action and standard Short Action platform.
Building a capable rifle at less than 2kg isn’t easy.
The Super Lite accomplishes this with a slim, trim, classic and a carbon-fiber stock along with the new reduced short-action with a small diameter bolt and a polymer detachable magazine.
The Magazine at 21 ounces, feels as though it weighs almost nothing.
The 16-inch barrel also saves weight. I wouldn’t call it pencil-thin, but it’s slender, which it has to be, to get the rifle’s overall weight down this low.
This rifle is fitted in a Stocky’s carbon fiber stock that is both lightweight and durable.
The Stock is a Soft-touch in Olive with Black webbing that provides a secure and comfortable grip as well as adds to the overall look of the rifle.
The stock also features a Limbsaver recoil pad, reducing felt recoil by up to a whopping 70%.
