This is our GBC Octagonal-Professional 12" Carbon Fiber Free Float Handguard with M-Lok slots.

Designed for the astute shooter in mind, ideal for the hunter and competitive shooter alike.

Fits most AR22 type upper receiver that runs the conventional Mil-Spec AR type lock nut, example Tippmann series of rifles.

The GBC Octagonal-Professional Carbon Fiber Free Float Handguard has 8 Angles and 8 Sides and feels very slim and ergonomic in your hand.

The Octagonal design allows for much more lateral rigidity thus fostering an even lighter hand-guard than ever before.

This complete unit is 100% NZ made with the carbon fiber octagonal tubing being manufactured at Rotorua's Kilwell's Fiber Factory, they used a Gen 4 carbon fiber that is resistant to sub-zero temperatures, as well as ultraviolet light, yet does not conduct heat and keeps your hand cooler during competition. We do not use the cheap carbon fiber out of China which has little heat resistance or strength.

The steel barrel sleeve nut and alloy handguard parts are CNC in the GBC workshop, in Rotorua NZ.

The tensile strength of this carbon fiber GBC OCT-PRO Handguard is stronger than any steel alloy at a fraction of the weight.

The GBC OCT-PRO Free Float Handguard utilizes a modular rail system so you can position M-Lok detachable rails where you want and remove them later if desired.

The GBC Professional Octagonal-PRO Carbon Fiber Free Float Handguard is easy to install:

• Removing your current handguard and barrel nut, you are ready to install.
• Simply screw on the new barrel nut supplied and tighten, then screw on the large billet alloy end cap nut on the outside of the barrel nut, this end cap nut is used to hold the handguard onto the top receiver.
• Then time the end cap nut so it's at top dead center, screw the small lock nut into the open end of the end cap nut, tighten and lock into place.
• Now replace gas block and tube (Please note: some gas blocks may be required to be replaced as you will need a slimline gas block to fit the internal diameter of the Carbon Fiber Octagonal tube)
• Finally with the four 3mm screws provided fit and screw the OCT-PRO carbon fiber to the large billet end cap nut making sure it's tight, but not over tighten. ...... Now go Shooting!

• 1x Large billet alloy end cap nut
• 1x Lock nut for alloy end cap nut
• 4 x Flat head hex 3mm screws
