While most users find the Race Master Holster functions perfectly without the additional support there are some added advantages to using this system.

The muzzle support prevents the gun from being dislodged upwards which could happen if the RaceMaster is left unlocked during a walkthrough or when preparing to shoot.

The Muzzle support body adaptor is for the early model Race Master Holster that do not have the M8 threaded hole on the bottom of the Race Master Holster.
